Last year I released No Years Lost 1.1 for iOS8 along with a tidy little wavy demo video of the app. I will be burying the app soon but I wanted to thank Yung Lean for the usage of his track, ‘Yoshi City,’ which paired as a perfect accompaniment for the visuals.

If you are unfamiliar with Yung Lean and the Sad Boys, I suggest you get onboard real quick. Yung’s melancholy tracks drip with an alluring unfamiliarity whose sound is forging the future for young Internet startup musicians. These kids fought hard and pushed through much criticism and adversity before a tour of sold out shows this year.

So, good for them and f*** the doubters.

The Sad Boys are from Sweden where I lived for a year in my adolescence and without a doubt, that experience formulated much of the art direction that would follow. Anyway, thanks to Yung Lean and the Sad Boys and I hope to see you in Toronto again, real soon.

Check out the video for Yoshi City above, as well as, the video for No Years Lost 1.1 below.

Sad Boys.
